Vanquishing Question
I have been playing a Warrior for the last 1 1/2 and I feel like it is time for a change. Im looking for a character to get the Vanquisher Title, so I was wondering how well can a Ranger vanquish?

How well is a very subjective question. It's certainly possible to vanquish as a ranger. I've had good success with BHA and the necro team in many areas. I've vanquished Elona (needed some candies for 2-3 zones). I'm about 34 zones into Tyria so far and it's been going pretty well.
The necro team is really powerful and being able to bring Winter/Frozen Soil/BHA without gimping yourself is pretty nice.
If you really really want to have an easy time vanquishing make yourself a "Save Yourselves" + Focused Anger Paragon.... they make many many things easy.
It's hard to give you a more specific answer without a more specific question.

rangers are probably the second most effective profession to play for vanquishing after monk IMO...
so versatile *enters looooooooooooong explaination why rangers are great*
BHA is a god-send in HM especially for vanq. an area...they can so many builds they make great professions / allys for a vanq.
best builds to run on a ranger for vanq. IMO:
- BHA with interupts (naturally)
- splinter barrage with warmongers etc.
- Smoke Trapper = awesome fun for tightly knit mobs just mass daze / blind = tasca demise made much easier...
- spirit runner - mass amounts of spirits / ran this for hidden city...ridiculous build but god did it work well...(not supplying it do not ask ^^, I lost it lol)
- oO and of course the worlds most renowned button spammer = ursan...anything can run it, just make sure your "1" button works and your finger can keep mashing it:P
have fun...BTW hero wise: monk, ele, nec normally works for most places for a ranger...mes / para / sin also...
but my normal bar as a ranger is BHA interupts with Zenmai (YES) = siphon tank, talh = WoH hybrid, ele = SH spam nuker, with monks, para, mes, nec hench / whatever "floats your boat" ^^
enjoy the ranger it only comes once but god you notice it when it does
edit: also make sure you equip a longbow for pulling and also a recurve or hornbow for when enemies are up close...
"perfect mods on other bow" and whatever the hell you want on longbow it doesnt matter as long as it is a longbow
mostly just common sense when playing a ranger, but learn the skills and the money / titles will start flowing

When comparing playing Warrior to Ranger its imporant that you don't adopt the same style of play.
Ranger's are not frontline charcters, by no means do you simply just rush in with them, soak up all the agro while the rest of your team does the dirty work. You must get close enough and flag you Warrior (please no tank) or Minion Master (make sure you bring him back though) just inside the agro circle of the enemy to ensure that yourself and your team goes undamaged.
Remember you dont have 96AL anymore.

Id agree that BHA is good for Vanquishing. In HM the monks are stupidly difficult and the Ele/Rit bosses hit like a ten tonne hammer. Being able to pop off a BHA and then sit back and watch them flounder is quite fun.

Vanquishing with a Ranger is fairly easy, but as suggested above, the playstyle is different. Rangers generally require a little more finesse than warrior builds. You'll be playing as a utility build and will have to build a team around that build that works with it. Once you get the hang of it, it is a lot of fun though. I play my ranger almost exclusively now because I found most of the other classes to be boring.
If you decide to go with a Ranger, skills to think about for vanquishing are: BHA (as mentioned), Throw Dirt (as a solid defensive skill), and Epidemic on a mes secondary (as ranger has access to a lot of condition-inflicting skills). There are some good builds floating around if you are looking for some help getting started.
